Basic Computer Skills Are a Must to Do Business on The Internet!

Now that we've gone through the demons, dragons, vultures and what a good support email should look like, it's time to take a look at the basic computer skills required to do business online. You don't have to be a computer geek or have programming experience but, you should have basic knowledge in the following areas.

You should know how to create text files and folders, copy-paste, save websites in your favourites through your browser and above all, be able to navigate through the internet easily. don't let all these things scare you away from establishing your business since they are all very simple to learn. After a while it all becomes second nature to you.
One more thing I would add is a log book or diary of some sort. I use a great little notebook called "Internet Directory" and it has saved my life on more than one occasion. You never can tell when you will experience a computer problem or God Forbid a system crash and if this should happen, your little notebook will have everything you need to get back on track. I store all of my login details in this book as well as on disk inside a file.

There are many free places online where you can go to learn these skills if you simply go to Google and search for them. You can even get a free website of your own complete with hosting if you put the right search terms in. Just try typing "Free Website" in the Google search bar and see what comes up. You can type in terms like "copy and paste", "learning text files and folders", "free learning videos", "free software" and the list goes on and on.

If your involved with a good affiliate program, they should have no problem at all pointing you in the right direction to learn what you need for the operation of your daily routine within your business. In fact, I strongly encourage you to not take no for an answer when dealing with any programs' support staff.
